Crystal Lynn Beck-White, 36, of Kalkaska, and formerly of Tuscola, IL, passed away on Oct 8, 2004, with her family by her side at Hospice House in Traverse City after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer.
She was born on Jan 25, 1968, in Monticello, IL, the daughter of James D Raney and Paula D Ragel.
Crystal married Troy White in Kalkaska and he preceded her in death. She was a caring wife, mother, daughter, and sister. She enjoyed life and all of her friends.
Surviving Crystal is her son, William Earl Nobel Jr of Kalkaska; daughter, Jami Renee (Randy) Beck-Lee of Vero Beach, FL; grandson, Malik Jordan Lee of Vero Beach, FL; mother Paula D (Joseph) Farrell of South Boardman; father, James Raney of Mahomet, IL; siblings, Vicki Lorraine (Richard) Irelan of Mio, Katrina Annette (Joshua) Smith of Kalkaska, and Aaron Christopher Dyer of Pope AFT, NC, and Jennifer Raney and Stephanie Raney, both of Mahomet, IL; nieces, Danielle and Kelley Irelan, and nephews, Jacob Ireland and Joshua Smith.
Crystal was preceded in death by her husband, Troy; her maternal and paternal grandparetns, and her brothers, James Dale Raney Jr and Richard Alexander Dyer.
A memorial service will be held on Wed, Oct 13, at 5 pm at Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska with visitation one hour prior to the service. Rev. Paul Karges will be officiating. A second memorial service, with visitation one hour prior, will be held on Sat, Oct 23, at 11 am, at First Christian Church in Tuscola, IL for Crystal and Troy White. Inurnment will be at Sunny Slope Cemetery in Saunemin, IL, immediately after service.
