Constance "Connie" Seese, passed away Fri, May 30, 2008 at Crittentton Hospital in Rochester Hills. Born Oct 27, 1919 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Mortimer and Mabel "Gordon" Burdick.
Connie married Raymond O Seese on Sep 27, 1975 in Elk Rapids and he preceded her in death. Together they owned and operated a marina in Traverse City and Florida and had a marine surveying company. Connie enjoyed the outdoors which included watching birds, boating, walking in the woods, gardening, and all kinds of winter sports. She was the administrative assistant for the school district in Macomb County for many years. Connie had a strong religious belief, enjoyed cooking and people.
Surviving Connie are her children, Carole Groves of Traverse City and Edward and his wife, Edie Kopp of Warren; her son in law, Harvey Groves of Holt; and her grandchildren, Bradley Groves, Jantzen Kopp, Michael Seese, Jeffery Seese, Elizabeth Seese.
Graveside service was Mon, Jun 2 at 1 pm at Evergreen Cemetery in Kalkaska. Reverend Ted Turanski of St Paul's Lutheran Church officiated.
