Mrs. Connie M. (Captain) Ross, 20, of South Boardman died Tue, Mar 19, 1991 of injuries suffered in an auto accident in Grand Traverse County.
Mrs. Ross moved to South Boardman eight years ago from Traverse City. She was a 1989 graduate of Forest Area High School, and at the time of her death was employed in the housekeeping department of Grand Traverse Resort.
She was born in Traverse City on Oct 8, 1970 to Conrad and Joyce Sayles Captain. On Aug 4, 1990, in Fife Lake, she was married to William Ross III who survives.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her parents of South Boardman; one brother, Ray Captain of South Boardman; and her paternal grandmother Rosemary Gleason of Holland.
Funeral services were held Fri, Mar 22, 1991 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Rev. Gary Wales, pastor of the Fife Lake United Methodist Church, officiated. Burial was in Boardman Township Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
