Clyde (Bob) Henry Wiltzer passed into glory Apr 3, 2009 at his home with his family.
Bob was born to John and Wilma (Winchester) Wiltzer Jul 3, 1935 in Cadillac. Married Ellen (Byers) Wiltzer Jul 30, 1955 in Tustin.
Children, Bruce (Holly) Wiltzer of McBain, Ken (Sandy) Wiltzer of Marion, Chris (Carl) Dick of Falmouth, and Charles (Debby) Wiltzer of McBain; grandchildren, Shannon (Jay) Gardner, Katie (Nate) Slavin, Jenna Wiltzer, Maclain Wiltzer, Blake (Jennifer) Wiltzer, Dylan Wiltzer, Danielle Dick and fiancé Marc Pluger, Cody Dick, Jessica Dick and fiancé Cody Nielsen, Joshua Dick, Tyler Dick and Seager Wiltzer; great grandchild, Micayla Slavin; sisters, Nancy (Don) Edwards of Sault Ste Marie, Canada, Betty French of Houghton Lake, and John (Phyllis) Wiltzer of Buckley; in laws, Mary (Merle) Decant, Ron (Pat) Byers of Tustin along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Preceded in death by sons, Daniel Robert and Timothy Mark Wiltzer; brothers in law, Bernard Long and Ronald French; his parents, John and Wilma Wiltzer; in laws, Herman and Inez Byers and step father, Emery Johnson.
After serving in the National Guard for five years, he was honorably discharged. Clyde (Bob) was a member of the Lucas Christian Reformed Church. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren, and fishing, or hunting with them. Being out in God’s creation was enjoyable to Bob. He was also a very avid gardener. He enjoyed working with his boys, farming for many years and then building. He also loved having friends over for coffee, but most of all, he loved the Lord Jesus.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm, Sun, Apr 5, at Burkholder Funeral Home in McBain and one hour prior to the service at the church. Services will be 11 am, Mon, Apr 6 at Lucas Christian Reformed Church in McBain with Rev. Steve VanNoort officiating. Burial will be in Mount View Cemetery in McBain.
