Clyde C. Stevens, 77, of Kalkaska, died Thu, Nov 9, 1995, at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mr. Stevens resided in Dearborn Heights until moving to Kalkaska in 1980. He was the manager of Smith Welding Company in Detroit prior to his retirement. He was affiliated with St. Paul Lutheran Church, and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and bowling.
Mr. Stevens was born in Detroit on Oct 7, 1918, to Clyde C and Eva Pearl (Middleton) Stevens. On Aug 22, 1942, in Detroit, he married Eleanor Elliott who survives.
Also surviving are one son, Ross Stevens of Kalkaska; one daughter, Cheryl Ford of Mancelona; one brother, Gerald Stevens of Lincoln Park; nine grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
One son, Jack, and one brother, Clarence, preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held Mon, Nov 13, 1995, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Rev. Ted Turanski, pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church, officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
