Clifford G. McNamara, 74, of Fife Lake, died Thursday morning, Aug 31, 1995, at Birchwood Nursing Center.
Mr. McNamara moved to Fife Lake 33 years ago from Newberry. He was a retired woodsman, and enjoyed gardening, restoring old cars, music, and the Bible.
He was born in Sault Ste Marie, MI on Mar 27, 1921, to Charles and Maude Walters McNamara. He married Hazel Hood in 1943, and she preceded hin in death on Nov 13, 1986.
Surviving are five sons, Clifford of Kalkaska, David, Burel, and Harold all of Fife Lake, and Paul of Lodi; three daughters, Georgetta Zemke of Traverse City, and Maude Turner and Lorena Usrey both of Fife Lake; one step daughter, Eva McNamara of Mancelona; one brother, John H. McNamara of Newberry; 25 grandchildren and three great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Two brothers, Charles and Peter, preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held Sat, Sep 2, 1995, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Rev. Richard Jones officiated. Burial was in Lodi Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
