Clifford F. Barber, 85, of South Boardman, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2003, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. He was born on Sept. 27,1917, in Garfield Township, the son of Raymond and Esther (Anderson) Barber.
Clifford was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving our country during World War II. Clifford was a local farmer his whole life and enjoyed working with the soil.
He is survived by his sister, Marie (Duane) Tinker of Grand Rapids and several nieces and nephews.
Clifford was preceded in death by his sisters, Gertrude Martin and Ruth Barber.
The funeral service was conducted April 29 at Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska. Interment was at Garfield Township Cemetery.
Memorials may be given on behalf of Clifford to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements were made by Wolfe Funeral Home.
