Cleona Dorine (Brand) Dice, 74, of Mancelona, died Tue, Aug 1, 2000, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
Mrs. Dice was born in Tuscola County on Aug 28, 1925, to Cleo and Gladys Shue Brand. Shen she was 10 years old her family moved to Hillman. There she met Theodore Dice and they were married on Oct 19, 1941.
Cleona and Ted have made their home in Kalkaska County for the past several years. She was a loving mother and wife, who enjoyed cooking, puzzles, and crafts. She was also active in the local Potluck and Pedro Club.
She is survived by her husband Ted; sons David Dice of Bowling Green, OH, and Darrell Dice of Milford,; daughter, Daniece Colburn of Milford; sister Reta Lester of Ann Arbor; brothers Waldon (Margaret) Brand of Alden, Charles (Jean) Brand of Lady Lake FL, and Terry (Joan) Brand of Alden; as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by son Richard Dice and sister, Waneta Rondeau.
Funeral services were Aug 4 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Interment was in Westwood Cemetery, Rapid Township.
