Clell Irwin Dennis, 74, of Fife Lake, passed away on Thu, Sep 22, 2011. Born on Nov 3, 1936 in Garfield Township, Kalkaska County, he was the son of the late Floyd and Pearl (Mockerman) Dennis.
Clell enjoyed sports and was an avid Detroit Tigers fan. In his youth he played baseball for a Garfield Twp league. His hobbies included writing poems, fishing, hunting, and playing cards. Clell loved his family and friends and spending time with them.
Surviving Clell is his wife, Marjorie; his stpeson, Steven Lee (Beth Ann) Brininstool of Delton; his siblings, Gladys Dennis of Winter Park, FL, and Gordon Dennis of Fife Lake; and many nieces and nephews.
Clell was preceded in death by his siblings, Grover Dennis and Tressa Dennis.
The funeral service was held Sun, Sep 25, at 1 pm at the Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home with visitation two hours prior to the service. Burial was at Garfield Township Cemetery.
