Clarence I. Hayward, 79, of 2881 Stimson Road, Brown City, died Thursday, July 5, 1984, in Lapeer County General Hospital after a short illness.
He was born March 24, 1905 in Burnside Township.
He married Iva Clark on Jan. 2, 1937 in Auburn, Ind.
Mr. Hayward was a farmer, heavy equipment operator and a milkhauler.
He is survived by his wife, Iva; his foster son, Kenneth Clark, Fostoria; three grandchildren; his nephew, Allen Clark, Taylor; two sisters, Mrs. James (Irene) Cornell, Brown City, and Mrs. Elnora Payne, North Branch; and his brother, Kenneth Hayward, Brown City.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Carman Funeral Home, Brown City. Th erev. Don Casterline, Omard United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Omard Cemetery.
