Mrs. Clara Gibbons, 61, of 3331 W Oregon, died Sat, Oct 6 at her residence.
She was born Aug 18, 1901 in Lapeer, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Stacy. She married Max Gibbons in 1921. He preceded her in death in 1958. For the past four years, she had worked in the dietary department of Lapeer General Hospital.
Services were held Tue, Oct 9 from the Immaculate Conception Church with Ref. Fr Charles Goentges officiating. Burial was in Mt Loretto Cemetery.
Surviving are two sons, Lyle of Poughkeepsie, NY and Robert of Columbiaville; two daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Scramlin and Mrs. Doris Brown, both of Lapeer; 22 grandchildren; and two brothers, Thomas Stacey of Lapeer and Robert Stacey of Pontiac.
