Clair Farabaugh, 80, passed away Jan 15, 2010 at his home.
He was born Jul 30, 1929, to the late Rupert and Catherine (Driskel) Farabaugh in Loretto, PA.
Clair married the former Marita Springer on Sep 29, 1956. Clair and Marita moved to Kalkaska with their five children in 1971, where he worked for Operators Engineers. After retiring, Clair enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards with friends and family, helping others and going to yard sales with his wife. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Surviving Clair are his children, Lisa (Jeff) Hartzell, Rupert and Jeff Farabaugh, (all of Kalkaska), and Cathy (Norman) Poppy of Bowling Green, KY.
He is additionally survived by his daughter in law, Robin Farabaugh of Kalkaska, 14 grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren, as well as siblings, Don (Grace) and Ralph Farabaugh of Pennsylvania.
Clair was preceded in death by his wife, Marita, his son, Bill; twin grandsons, Jason and Christopher Farabaugh; his brother, Roy Farabaugh and his sister Louise Scanlon.
Visitation was held Mon, Jan 18 from 5 to 8 pm at Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home.
The funeral service was Tue at 11 am at the funeral home with the Rev. Matt Mosher officiating.
Burail will be at Lodi Cemetery in the spring - when weather permits.
