Christopher M. Hilton, 14, of Kalkaska, died Thu, Sep 5, 1996, of injuries suffered in an automobile accident.
Christopher had been a resident of Kalkaska County for the past three weeks, moving from Poseyville, IN. He was enrolled in the ninth grade at Kalkaska High School. Christopher enjoyed drawing, art, water skiing, races, and small children.
He was born in Houston, TX on Sep 14, 1981.
Surviving are his parents, Michael Hilton (Jackie Mooring) of Woodlands, TX and Patricia Hilton (Alvin Gish) of Poseyville, IN; one brother, David of Woodlands, TX; five stepbrothers, Dom Mooring of Woodlands, Daniel and Nathan Spencer of Kalkaska, Jason and Jared Gish of Poseyville, IN; two stepsisters, Michelle Gish of Poseyville and Mary Lee Gilmore of Houston; his grandparents, Lorene Martin and William Temple of Nashville, TN, Barbara Hilton and Roy Anderson of Austin, TX, Harold and Peggy Hilton of Lufkin, TX, Helen and Oney Gish of Poseyville, IN, James and Betty Lou Mooring and Jeanine Mooring all of Houston, TX; his great grandfather, Warren Geist of Wilmette, IL; several aunts and uncles, including Melvin and Sue Spencer of Kalkaska with whom he made his home.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Michael Steere officiated. Burial was in Lodi Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to Imagination Station at Chalker Park.
