Mrs. Chloe E. Finney, 97, of Rapid City, died Thursday, March 14, 1991 at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility in Bellaire.
Mrs. Finney had been a lifelong resident of Rapid City, and enjoyed art work.
She was born in Elk Rapids on Aug. 31, 1893 to Chester and Effie Vansaw Wood. On June 10, 1911, in Rapid City, she was married to Alva Finney who preceded her in death in 1967.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Lula Authorson of Alden, and Mrs. Arlene Smith of Cedar Springs; one sister, Mrs. Glayds Johnson of Southfield; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and six great- great-grandchildren.
Two daughters, Marie Cummins and Agnes Pederson, and one son, Dan Finney, preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 16, 1991 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Rev. Dan Davis, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church officiated. Burial was in Clearwater Township Cemetery. Kalkaska County.
