Chloe Siecienski, 76, of Kalkaska passed away on Tue, Jul 25, 2006 at the Munson Hospice House with her loving husband, Jerry, and friends at her side. Chloe was born on Mar 7, 1930, in Detroit. She married Jerry Siecienski on Jun 22, 1963, at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Detroit.
Chloe graduated from St Mary's Academy in Monroe in 1947. She worked for AT&T Accounting Branch in Southfield for 15 years. Chloe and Jerry moved to Kalkaska in 1973. She worked for McLean's Hardware for several years.
Chloe attended St Mary of the Woods Catholic Church. She was an usher, greeter, eucharist minister, and eucharist minister to the shut ins at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center. Chloe loved to read and was an avid crossword puzzle solver. Her best hobby was knitting.
Chloe was a loving wife to Jerry; dear sister in law to Barbara Tolley of Palm Harbor, FL; a special aunt to Penny and Bob Wardenski; and a great aunt to their children, Brook and Steven of Bay City.
Her smile and hugs will be greatly missed by her many many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation was held on Wed, Jul 26, from 1 to 4 pm and 6 to 9 pm with the scripture service at 7 pm and Rosary at 7:30 pm at the Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Funeral services were at 11 am on Thu, Jul 27 at St Mary of the Woods Catholic Church with additional visitation from 9 am to the time of service. The Rev. James Barrand and Deacon Rene officiated the service. Interment was at Evergreen Cemetery in Kalkaska.
