Chester L. Cline, 75, passed away Aug 19, 1994, at Kalkaska.
He was born Nov 2, 1918, at Grand Rapids, the son of Alton D. and Mable C. (Miske) Cline.
He was a former Grand Ledge resident and a veteran of WWII, serving with the U.S. Navy. He was a retired employee of Michigan State University as building supervisor of Snyder Phillips Hall and was an avid fisherman and hunter.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara; one sons, Daniel (Nancy) Cline of Grand Ledge; three daughters, Jane (Robert) Haueter and Judy (Larry) Haueter of Grand Ledge, and Nancy O'Brien of Grand Ledge and friend Butch Dickerson of Lansing; 11 grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and three nieces; and one sister in law, Connie Dunklee of Elk Rapids.
Funeral services were held Mon, Aug 22, at the Peters and Murray Funeral Home, Grand Ledge, with interment at the North Eagle Cemetery, Clinton County. Rev. WJ "Bill" Amundsen of the Grand Ledge First United Methodist Church officiated.
Contributions to the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center Long Term Acute Critical Care Unit would be appreciated by the family.
