Chester A. (Chet) Wall, 71, 3676 N. Blackford County Road 700-E, died Wednesday in his home.
He retired from Sheller-Globe Corp., and also was employed as an electrical construction worker.
He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Montpelier Masonic Lodge 600, Scottish Rite Valley of Fort Wayne, Montpelier United Methodist Church and Millard-Brown American Legion Post 156.
He was a graduate of Montpelier High School.
He was an Army veteran of WWII.
Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Sharon Ort Wall; a son, Gregory Wall, Montpelier; two brothers, William and Paul Wall, both of Montpelier; a sister, Helen (Mrs. John) Tatman, Hartford City, and two grandsons, Todd and Bradley Wall, both of Montpelier.
Services will be at 1 pm Friday in Walker & Glancy Funeral Home, with Rev. Phill Hershberger officiating. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to the Montpelier-Harrison Township Cancer Society.
Montpelier Masonic Lodge will hold a memorial service at 7 pm today in the funeral home.
Millard-Brown American Legion Post will be in charge of Military graveside rites.
