Charles Victor Desmul, 83, died Mon, Aug 6, 2001, at his home of cancer.
Born Apr 19, 1918, in Old, NE, he lived in Escondido for 64 years. He worked for the city of Escondido.
Mr. Desmul is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary Desmul of Escondido; daughters and sons in law, Shirley and Jim Barlow of Escondido and Janette and Jim Morton of Escondido; grandchildren Tim, Tom, Charles and Chris; and 10 great grandchildren.
A private graveside service at Oak Hill Memorial Park is planned. Ryan Peikins will officiate. Alhiser-Comer Mortuary is handling arrangements.
