Charles K Ray, 85, of Kalkaska, died Thu, Dec 17, 1992, at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mr. Ray resided in Grand Rapids and Traverse City prior to moving to Kalkaska 20 years ago. He was a former member of the Elks Lodge in Grand Rapids, and was employed by Belknap Hardware and Plyco Window Company before his retirement.
Mr. Ray was born in Wellington, OH on Feb 27, 1907 to Solomon and Emma Orr Ray. He was married on Jun 11, 1930, in Cleveland, OH to Genevieve Brodeur who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Gloria Moran of Hackettstown, NJ and Mrs. Charlene Herrinton of Myrtle Beach, SC; one brother, Clyde Ray of Wellington, OH; one sister Blanche Garman of Ohio; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
One brother, Clifford Ray and two sisters Katherine Powell and Marian Harmony, preceded him in death.
No services are planned at this time.
