Charles J (Jim) Sieting, 63, of Kalkaska, died Sun, Aug 25, 1996, at Munson Medical Center.
Mr. Sieting had been a lifelong resident of Kalkaska County, and was a 1951 graduate of Kalkaska High School.
He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, and was employed by Pinecrest Engineering prior to his retirement. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Mr. Sieting was born in Kalkaska County on Dec 23, 1932, to Marion and Stella Matthews Sieting. On Oct 26, 1957, in Traverse City, he married Rosalie Adams who survives.
Also surviving are one son, Dale Sieting of Cadillac; two daughters, Diane Clough and Dorona Klee both of Grayling; one brother, Leo Sieting of Bad Axe; 10 grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm today, Wed, Aug 28, 1996, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Dr. Marc Graham, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Lodi Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
