Charles J. Leveque, 69, of Kalkaska, died Sun, Apr 30, 1995, at Mt. Clemens General Hospital.
Mr. Leveque moved to Kalkaska four years ago from Fraser. he served in the U.S. Army during WWII, and retired from Ford Motor Company. He had been a volunteer fireman in Roseville and was a member of the Metropolitan Club. He attended St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church.
Mr. Leveque was born in Detroit on Jun 9, 1925, to Charles and Marguerite Leveque. He married Betty Lovel in Roseville on Dec 20, 1947. She survives.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Joseph (Talitha) Leveque of Kalkaska and Raymond Leveque of Clinton Township; one daughter Mrs. Michael (Peggy Ann) Goeke of FL; one sister, Margaret LaBarge of Roseville; 10 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sat, May 6, 1995, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Father Patrick J. Barrett officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
