Charles H Cork, 77, died Tuesday on his farm home on Mortimer Line road, Speaker Township.
Mr. Cork was born Feb. 13, 1882 on the same farm where he died. He was the son of the late George and Jennie Lee Cork and lived in Speaker all his life except for six years in Deckerville where he was an implement dealer and three years in Peck where he had a hardware store.
He and Margaret Ruth were married April 22, 1909 in Speaker Township. He was a member of Elk lodge No. 353, F. & A.M.
He is survived by his widow, a daughter, Mrs. Marguerite Ruoff, Syracuse, N.Y., three sons, Gordon Cork, Birmingham, Mich. Bruce, Piedmonth, Calif., and Robert, Sandusky; 13 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Harvey Woodbury, Ypsilanti, and several nieces and nephews.Remains are in the Peters funeral home. Arrangements are incomplete.
