Cecil A. Tuller, 88, of Rapid City, died Tue, Jun 6, 2000, at his residence.
Cecil was born in Interlochen on Mar 13, 1912, son of the late Wilbert and Anna VanderHoof Tuller. He married Ardis Day in Grand Traverse County on Nov 25, 1946. She died on Nov 5, 1969.
Mr. Tuller retired as a Sgt 1st Class in the U.S. Army following 20 years of service in WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Torch Lake Assembly of God. He enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, watching television, walking his dog Duke and being with his family.
Surviving are sons Daniel (Wanda) Tuller, Douglas (Beverly) Tuller and Dewayne Tuller, all of Rapid City; brother Timothy Coburn Tuller of California; grandchildren Carol (Ward) Johnson, Jan Tuller, Daniel Tuller Jr, Renae Tuller, Jamie (April) Norcorss, Taren Tuller, and Midy Tuller; great grandson, Nicholas Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.
Son David Tuller, daughter Marcie Tuller, and brothers Cephas, Daniel, Samuel, and Jesse, preceded him in death.
Funeral services were Jun 9 at the Torch Lake Assembly of God; Pastor Ron Gay officiated. Burial was in Clearwater Township Cemetery, Kalkaska County. Arrangements were made by Wolfe Funeral Home.
