Mrs. Catherine L. Kelly, 78, of Kalkaska, died Sun, Feb 27, 1994 at Munson Medical Center.
Mrs. Kelly had been a resident of Kalkaska since 1972. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She had a love for animals and was a great cook. Her hobbies included shopping and collecting knick-knacks.
Born on Aug 28, 1915, in Detroit, she was the daughter of Joseph and Catherine (Maloney) Delpoma. On Jan 3, 1934, in Detroit, she married Edward H. Kelly, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Larry (Barbara) Kelly of Mt. Clemens and Alan Kelly of Kalkaska; one daughter, Laura Kelly of Kalkaska; one sister, Rose of Florida; seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and two dogs, Ricky and Gizmo.
A rosary was held on Tuesday at the Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Wed, Mar 2, 1994 at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church. Father Patrick J. Barrett officiated. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude's Children's Foundation.
