Carrol A. "Coge" Coger, 81, died Sat, Mar 1, 1997, at Tendercare of Traverse City.
Mr. Coger was retired from Wayne Wire Cloth Products in Kalkaska. He served in the U.S. Army in WWII and was a member of the Fife Lake American Legion and Kalkaska VFW posts. He enjoyed gardening, golf, bowling, and baking bread.
Mr. Coger was born Jun 13, 1915, in Toledo, OH, the son of Leonard and Mable (Fralick) Coger. he was a resident of Fife Lake since 1929.
Surviving are sons Douglas Coger of Fife Lake and John (Diane) Coger of Yale; daughters Susan Wright of Cadillac and Laura Clark of Manton; and six grandchildren, Nicola DiMarco of Kansas City, MO, Douglas A. Coger Jr of Fife Lake, Amy, Michael and Courtney Clark of Manton, and Lacey Coger of Yale.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Vernon; and grandson Bradley Clark.
Funeral services were Mar 4 at the Covell-Smith Funeral Home, Kingsley. Rev Don Barnes officiated. Burial will be in Fife Lake Cemetery.
