Former Kalkaska resident Carolyn Mae Webber, 91, a resident of Atwater, CA, for approximately 18 years, died Wed, Aug 2 at a Merced Hospital. She had been in ill health for approximately three years.
Mrs. Webber was born Jan 20, 1909, in Bloomfield, NY. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and was also active in local, political, and civic organizations during her years in Kalkaska.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harley Webber, two brothers and two sisters. Survivors include daughters Wilma Shoupe of Atwater, CA and Evelyn Dula of Harrison, Ark.; stepson James Webber of Kalkaska; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
