Carolyn J. Pletcher, of Millington, age 67, died Tue, Jan 11, 2005 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Services will be held 11 am Fri, Jan 14, 2005 at Millington United Methodist Church, Rev. Drew Hart officiating. Interment at Millington Township Cemetery. Visitation at the Hudson Funeral Home, Otisville from 6-9pm Wed, Jan 12, 2005 and 10 am until 9pm Thur and at the church from 9:30am Fri until time of funeral service. Donations may be made to the Millington United Methodist Church or the charity of ones choice. She was born in Millington, Michigan on Feb 27, 1937, the daughter of Henry and Minnie (Mamerow) Forsyth. Carolyn married Elewyn C. Pletcher on Aug 18, 1956. She was an organist and active member of Millington United Methodist Church, Member of the National Honor Society, Coached Girls Athletic Events for Millington Schools, Announcer and scorekeeper for Football and basketball, accompanied solo and ensemble musicians from band and choir, charter member for the Boosters Club. Carolyn is a retired teacher of Millington School District.
Surviving are her husband, Elewyn Pletcher; children Doyle V. Pletcher, Judith L. (Martin) Snover, Stuart E. (Lora) Pletcher, Elewyn L (Bridgett) Pletcher and Todd (Lucinda) Woods; grandchildren, Matthew (Jennifer) Pletcher, Brandi Pletcher, Kyle Pletcher, Amy Snover, Chad Wods, Amber Woods, Chelsea Pletcher, Morgan Pletcher, Cara Sue Pletcher, Shelbee Pletcher; great-grandson, Clayton Mathew Pletcher; brothers and sisters, Gertrude and John Foley, Albertine and Alfred Burns, Norman Forsyth, Elinor and Charles Kroll, James Forsyth, Hettie Ruth Forsyth; brother and sister-in-laws, Glenn and Shirley Pletcher, Marlene (Lowell) Pletcher, Clyde and Judy Pletcher, Robert and Donna Ames; many nieces and nephews.
