Carol Ann Coulter, 82, of Traverse City, passed away Jan 19, 2020. She was born Aug 1, 1937 in Detroit, daughter to Delbert and Evelyn Morley.
On Nov 24, 1962 Carol married her loving husband, James Coulter, at Lakeshore Presbyterian Church in St Clair Shores. Jim and Carol mostly lived in Macomb County and owned a home in Traverse City. The couple then moved up north full time several years ago.
Throughout her life Carol enjoyed all types of sewing, even as advanced as making herself a jacket. Carol and Jim enjoyed crafting beaded jewelry. She was the designer and Jim the creator; together they traversed the state to numerous craft fairs. Carol enjoyed cross country travel and loved the mountains of Colorado.
Carol even patented a dual coffee dispenser, US Patent no DES334,685 in April of 1993!
Carol leaves behind her husband, James Coulter; daughter, Laura Atwell; as well as other extended family members and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A funeral service in honor of Carol will take place at 3 pm Fri, Jan 24, at Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home in Traverse City. Visitation begins at 2 pm and will continue until the time of service.
