Carmella I Fegan, 80, of Kenosha, passed away Sun, Feb 19, 2006 at her residence.
Born in Kenosha on Jan 26, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Carmine and Filomena (Caputo) DeCesaro. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, she was educated in the local schools.
On Oct 12, 1957, at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic church, she married Henry Fegan. He passed away Oct 20, 1977. She had been employed by American Motors Corp., retiring after more than 30 years.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic church, the Holy Rosary Women’s Society, Italian American Ladies Auxiliary and the Moose Lodge. Carmella enjoyed bingo, ceramics, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Surviving are three sisters, Christine Gannaway of Lansing, IL, Ida Gannaway of Kenosha, and Josephine Brandes of Franklin, WI; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Arthur and Carmine DeCesaro Jr.
Funeral services will be held on Thu, Feb 23, from Proko Funeral Home at 9:30am. Mass to be celebrated at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 10 am. Interment to follow at ST. George Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wed at Proko Funeral Home from 5pm until 8pm with the Italian American Ladies Auxiliary service at 5pm.
