Carla Kay Schroeder, 53, of Mancelona and formerly of Clare, passed away Sep 8, 2003, at her home in Mancelona.
Carla was born to Duane and Dorothy (Carey) MacDonald on Sep 15, 1949, in Gladwin.
She married Ted Schroeder on Jun 19, 1971 in Clare.
Carla was a member of the Clare Rebekah Lodge and also a 4-H leader. She enjoyed doing crafts, camping, and raising goats, ducks, and rabbits. She also loved being with her grandchildren.
Carla is survived by her parents; husband, Ted; son Tony Schroeder of Clare; daughters, Kristi (Zachary) Griffith and Kati Schroeder, both of Mt Pleasant; three grandchildren, Morgan Griffith, Kaleb and Isabel Schroeder; brothers, Don (Sally Barnes) MacDonald of Cass City and Michael (Jodi) MacDonald of Farwell.
Services for Carla were held on Sep 12, 2003, at the Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home, with Pastor Jim Young officiating. Burial was in the Cherry Grove Cemetery.
