Carl Jay Beebe, 60, of Harrison passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 due to an automobile accident.
Carl was born June 7, 1950 in Gladwin, Michigan the son of Carl J. and Loretta (Foote) Beebe. Carl was united in marriage to Joyce Hencrickson in 1967, Joyce preceded Carl in death in 1975, he was united in marriage to Ruby Ann Hendrickson in 1977. Jay was a lifelong resident of Harrison. Jay was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Harrison. Mr. Beebe was currently employed with McNeilly Contracting of Farwell with twenty eight years of service. Mr. Beebe was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, building and tinkering and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving Jay is his wife, Ruby Ann Beebe of Harrison, one daughter, Jaymi LaFleur of Harrison, two sons: Stacey Beebe and wife Michelle of Clare, Michigan and William Bill Beebe and wife Nacole of Harrison, father and step-mother, Carl J Beebe and wife Diane of Forestville, Michigan, one step daughter, Kris Hendrickson (Rich Czarnecki) of Harrison, three step-sons: Jeff Hendrickson and wife Vena of Alma, Michigan, Jim Hendrickson and wife Kassie of Harrison and Joe Hendrickson and wife Heather of Fife Lake, Michigan, one sister, Lois Anderson and husband Owen of Gladwin, Michigan, one broter, David Beebe of Joplin, Missouri, thirty one grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, best buddy, Bill LaFleur, plus many nieces, nephews and close friends. Carl is also survived by his two beloved pets: Abby and Emma.
Mr. Beebe was preceded in death by his mother, one son, Carl Scott Beebe and one sister, Betty J. Mathews.
Funeral services for Mr. Beebe will be held Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 10 am from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison with Pastor Paul Fetzer officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, May 6, 2011 from 5-8 pm at Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison. Burial for Mr. Beebe will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Harrison.
