Charles E. Beasley Sr., 61, of Wellsville, died Thu, May 25, 2000, in ManorCare, Carlisle.
He was born Dec 23, 1938, in Hagerstown, MD, son of the late Edward L. and Charmil D. Norris Beasley.
Mr. Beasley was retired from Waste Management York, and was a former cook for McDonald’s of Dillsburg.
He was a member of the Wellsville Fire Co and Grace United Methodist Church, Wellsville.
He is survived by his wife, Clara; three sons, Anthony Beasley and Charles E Beasley Jr, both of South Carolina, and David Reynolds at home; three daughters, Wanda Beasley, Charlene Beasley, and Bernita Beasley, all of South Carolina; three stepsons, Charles Reynolds of Duncannon, Robert Reynolds of Gettysburg and Frank Reynolds of Franklintown; a step daughter, Clara Forney of Franklintown; two brothers, Grover Beasley of Gettysburg and Jack Beasley of Hanover; a sister; twin step granddaughters, and several grand and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday in Myers Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Friends may call from 1 to 2 pm in the funeral home.
