Branda Grace Simon, 64, of Lake Charles, LA, died at 3:20am on Fri, Oct 23, 2020 in a local hospital.
Mrs. Simon was born Jan 17, 1956 in Houston, TX, where she was a graduate of McArthur High School. She worked a number of years for Continental Airlines, retiring twenty years ago. She had a true love for the outdoors, enjoyed gardening, and watching the stars. Most recently, she enjoyed arts and crafts.
Mrs. Simon is survived by her husband of sixteen years, Dennis Simon; children, Jason Anderson of Henderson, TX and Janis Jones and husband Mark of VA; step sons, Dustin Simon and Dwight Simon, both of Seabrook, TX; granddaughter, Kaitlyn; and her sisters, Darleen Padgett and husband Donald of Evant, TX and Barbara Burnett and husband William of Quitman, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Polk Bryant and Beatrice Mae Barfield; sister, Francis Darnell Barfield Falmor; and brother, Bryant Wesley “Sonny” Barfield.
Her cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
