In loving memory of Beverly Jean Webb, 67, of South Boardman, who went to be with her Lord Nov 4, 2000, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
She was born in Kalkaska County Dec 7, 1932, the daughter of the late Leo Birgy and Elsie Haskin.
On Oct 1, 1950, in South Boardman, she was united in marriage with Floyd Webb. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends Sep 30, 2000.
Mrs. Webb was a volunteer and also headed the Red Cross for Kalkaska County for 30 years. She enjoyed making needlepoint quilts for all her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed baking and collecting, especially unique and various giraffes. She was a member of the Kalkaska Church of Christ. She is greatly loved by her family and will be sadly missed.
She is survived by her husband Floyd, of South Boardman; sons Steven (Laurie) Webb and Randall (Patricia) Webb, both of Fife Lake, and James (Kyle) Webb of South Boardman; daughter, Kelly (Dave) Stein of Kalkaska; brothers, Gerald (Lillian) Birgy, Michael (Margaret) Birgy, and Leo (Bertha) Birgy, all of Fife Lake, John (Ruth) Birgy of Crossville, TN, and Alan (Kay) Birgy of Charlotte; sister, Sharon (Charles) Melchert of Manistee; grandchildren, Doug Webb of Kingsley, Steven Webb, Holly (Daniel) Larr, and William Webb, all of Fife Lake, Amy (Scott) Reeves, and Christina and Danielle Stein, all of Kalkaska; and gret grandchildren, Rhonda and Cynthia Webb, Gwendolyn and Autumn Larr and Landen Webb.
Funeral services were Nov 7 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska; E. Dan Johnson officiated.
Graveside Services were held at Boardman Township Cemetery.
