Mrs. Beverly Jean Kerlikowske, 27, of 814 Columbia Ave., St. Joseph, died at 10:45pm Tue of an embolism following the birth of a daughter in St. Mary’s Hospital, Grand Rapids.
A former kindergarten teacher at St. Joseph’s Washington school, where she taught for two years, and at Jefferson School, St. Joseph, where she taught for one year, Mrs. Kerlikowske was a popular member of the young twin city social set. She was a member of the Civic Benefit Club and the First Congregational Church of St. Joseph.
Mrs. Kerlikowske was born Mar 31, 1926 in Grand Rapids the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Anderson. She was married to Charles Franklin Kerlikowske on Mar 10, 1947. Both were students at Western Michigan College.
Mrs. Kerlikowske is survived by her husband, two daughters, Elizabeth Ann and the infant Annie Sue; her parents; one brother, Peter Anderson of Grand Rapids, and a sister, Mrs. Susan Noble of Hudson.
