Mrs. Beulah M Hall, 87, formerly of Kalkaska, died Wed, Apr 7, 1999, at the home of her daughter in Bad Axe.
Mrs. hall was a graduate of Kalkaska High School and Kalkaska County Normal, and later attended Central Michigan University. For 27- and a half years, she taught in several Kalkaska Country rural schools, and also in the Fife Lake School. Following her retirement, she resided at the Baptist Children's Home in St. Louis for 9 and a half years where she was known as "Aunt B." Since 1974, she divided her time between Texas and Bad Axe. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bad Axe, and was always active in the Baptist Church wherever she was residing.
Mrs. Hall was born in Kalkaska County on Jun 14, 1911, daughter of the late Peter and Olive (Tanner) O'Neal. On Nov 25, 1931, in Cadillac, she was united in marriage with Claude J Hall, who preceded her in death on Nov 28, 1962.
Surviving are a daughter, Olive Kay (Leo) Sieting of Bad Axe; sons Larry (Shirley) Hall of Las Vegas, NV, and Brian (Laurie) Hall of Leander, TX; 12 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; niece Cora Hinkle of Yuma, AZ; and her extended family from St. Louis Baptist Children's Home.
Son Myron, and two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Apr 11, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska; Pastor Larry Fetzer officiated. Burial was in Oliver Township Cemetery, Kalkaska County. Memorial gifts may be directed to Huron Memorial Hospice, 1100 S. Van Dyke, Bad Axe, MI 48413.
