Bernice Ort, 69, died Thursday in Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie.
Mrs. Ort, who was born in Georgia, had live in Blackford County since 1954. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Wallis N Ort; a daughter, Sue Ort; two sons, Kenneth R Ort (wife, Amy), and Steve A Ort (wife, Traci); a daughter in law, Joni B Johnson Ort Meyer; five sisters, Louise Hall (husband: CW), Hazel Stephenson, Frances Gutierrez (husband, Danny), Mary Mosteller (husband, David), and Nancy Mira (husband, George); two brothers, David Vaughn (wife, Debbie) and James Vaught (wife, Lisa); nine grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
Two brothers are deceased.
Services will be at 2 pm Sunday in Keplinger Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hartford City Cemetery.
Calling will be 4 to 8 pm today and after noon Sunday at Keplinger Funeral Home.
