Bernard Leroy Addis, age 56, of Greenville, passed away Dec 30, 2016. He was born in Greenville on Apr 22, 1960 the son of Leroy and Ann (Reynolds) Addis.
He was a graduate of Greenville High School and attended Ferris State University. He was married to Julie J. Stocking for 17 years and loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and family. Bernie was a hard and determined worker all his life, on the Addis Farm for many years and also in construction. He and his family cleared and built their home on the family property on the Wabasis stream, where he enjoyed living, playing volleyball, and listening to Bob Seger.
He was preceded in death by his mother Ann Rose Addis on Feb 24, 2006.
He is survived by his wife, Julie J. Addis; his father, Leroy Addis; children, Mark Addis, Jeffrey Addis and fiancé Deb Jordan, and Stephanie Addis; grandchildren, Jewell Addis and Gianna Aeon Webb; brother, Barry (Cindy) Addis; sister, Beverly (Brad) Harrington; aunt, Jean Johnston; nieces, nephews, and cousins; mother in law, Carol Witczak; his siters in law and brothers in law, Susan Maolne, Lorrie (Luise) Lupercio, and Robert Witczak. Cremation will take place with a memorial gathering to be held in Jun 2017 with burial of his cremated remains in White Swan Cemetery.
