Bernard L Andrews, 76,Consumers Energy employee, died Mon, Apr 9, 2001, at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mr. Andrews lived in Williamston until 1972, when he moved to Kalkaska. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII, and was a member of Land O'Lakes VFW Post 8684 and Webberville Lodge 485 F & AM. He enjoyed hunting.
He was born in Lansing on Nov 11, 1924, to Wesley and Georgia Rinke Andrews. He married Shirley Simpson in Leslie on Jun 19, 1948. She survives.
Also surviving are sons Keith Andrews of Savannah, GA and Steve Andrews of Haslett and five grandchildren.
A brother, Norwood, and sister Gladys Hamlin preceded him in death.
Committal services were Apr 17, at the Evergreen Cemetery Chapel in Kalkaska.
Memorials may be made to Kalkaska United Methodist Church.
