Bernard D Peck, 51, of Kalkaska, passed away Mar 25, 2002 at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center after a long battel with a brain tumor. He was born Oct 4, 1950 in Detroit, the son of Cecil E and Martha (Hinds) Peck.
Bernard graduated from Kalkaska High School in 1969. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving our country in the Vietnam War. Bernard always enjoyed being around friends and family and liked sports.
Bernard is survived by his loving family, including parents, Cecil and Martha Peck of Kalkaska; son, Adam Hanson of Mancelona; sisters, Sharon (Keith) Ingersoll of Fife Lake and Gloria (Ken) Bargen of Kalkaska; brother, Jerry (Sarah) Peck of Kalkaska; and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service was conducted Mar 27 at Garfield Country Church with Reverend Kimberland J Hough officiating. Interment was at Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
