Benjamin Jack Park, age 66, of Brown City, died Thursday, October 20, 2005 at his home.
He was born March 18, 1939 in Flynn Twp., Sanilac County, a son of William and Isabel Park.
He attended Brown City High School and joined the Navy.
He then married Virginia Goodlett on August 22, 1959.
Jack was a truck driver and worked for Harry Fox Inc. until a truck accident disabled him. Prior to that he worked for J.D. Armstrong Landscaping for 22 years. He was a volunteer fireman for the Brown City Fire Department, and a member of the Brown City Lodge #409. He loved to hunt, be out of doors and keep busy.
He is survived by three children, Renee (James) Gottschalk of Brown City, Susan (Mark) Peititpren of Melvin, Jan (Richard) McPhail of Marlette; 12 grandchildren; special friend of 22 years, Virginia Royle; his mother, Isabel Park; a brother, William Park; a sister, Carolyn LaPrade; his former wife, Virginia Park; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Park; and his brothers, Robert and Raymond.
