Beatrice M Wellman, 78, of Rapid City died Fri, Jan 27, 2006, at the Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
She was born Jun 22, 1927, in Detroit, the daughter of Joseph and Margaret (Vandenabelle) Kauffman.
She had resided in Rapid City for the past 52 years.
Surviving are eight children, James Bond of Kalamazoo, Janice Link of Kalkaska, Audrey Day of Central Lake, Dennis, Roger, Andy, Shawn, and Dawn Day all of Rapid City; four brothers, Louis (Lucille) Kauffman of Swartz Creek, Harry Kauffman of Grayling, Harvey Kauffman of Yuma, AZ, and Charles Kauffman of Greenville; three sisters, Rose Kauffman of Yuma, AZ, Gloria Kauffman of Bellevue, and Rachel (Theodore) Hubbard of Casco; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth Day; second husband, George Wellman; and her paretns.
Funeral services will be held Wed, Feb 1, at 2 pm at the Bellaire Chapel of Mortensen Funeral HOme with the Rev. Huse Johnson officiating.
Interment will be in Clearwater Township Cemetery.
