Beatrice E. Patterson, 85, of Kalkaska, passed away on February 20, 2011 at Avalon Hospice in Flint. She was born on June 18, 1925 in Kalkaska to the late Harry and Nina (Armstrong) Larabee.
She is survived by her children, Terry (Lynn) Woodruff of Otisville, Connie Velez of Wheeling, IL, Penny (David) Clark of Grand Blanc, Billy Jo (Jim Batch) Ashworth, of Bay City, and Thomas Woodruff of Essexville; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Nova (Don) Darke of Kalkaska; sister in laws, Annabelle and Bethel Larabee.
Beatrice was preceded in death by her loving husband Raymond E. Patterson; five brothers and four sisters.
Beatrice enjoyed crocheting, gardening, card playing, cooking and canning, and spending time with her family and friends. She retired In 1985 from General Motors AC Spark Plug in Flint.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday February 22nd from 2-8pm at Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home. The funeral will be held on Wednesday the 23rd at 1pm at the funeral home with Reverend Kim Hough officiating. Burial will be at Excelsior Township Cemetery in the spring.
