Barbara Ann Hawkins, aged 60, passed away Sun evening, Dec 29, 1991. Barbara was an admitting secretary at Blodgett Memorial Medical Center, a graduate of Cedar Springs High School. She is survived by her son, Thomas A. Hawkins of Grand Rapids; a daughter, Karen Hawkins of Rockford; her grandson, Thomas J. Hawkins; her granddaughter, Jessica Hiemstra; her mother, Mrs. Sara Jean Hoare of Cedar Springs; brothers and sister, James (Sue) Travis of Rockford, Grace (Norm) Slater of Michigan, Edward Hoare of Cedar Springs; nieces and nephews. The service for Mrs. Hawkins will be held Tue afternoon 3p from the funeral home, with the Rev. Leonard Putnam officiating. Interment in Courtland Township Cemetery. The family has suggested memorials to the American Heart Association. Barbara’s family will greet relatives and friends from 7 to 9 Mon evening at the funeral home.
