Arthur Lee Crane, 80, passed away on Mon, Aug 15, 2005, at North Kansas City Hospital.
Funeral services were held on Thu, Aug 18, at DW Newcomer's Sons Floral Hills Chapel. Burial will be in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
Arthur was born Dec 19, 1924 in Kalkaska, to Lee Charles and Clara Crane.
He was formerly of Independence, MO, but recently lived in Kansas City.
Arthur was a truck driver for Kaw Transport until his retirement in 1987. He was a teamster, a US Army veteran of WWII, and a member of VFW Post No 6272.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Charles and Clyde; and three sisters, Alice, Clare, and Joy.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara; son, John Crane and his wife, Judy, of Kansas City, MO; step son, Waldo Dixon of Phoenix, AZ; two daughters, Pam of El Cajon, CA, and Barbara of Tucson, AZ; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and his best friend, Casey.
Arrangements were handed by D.W. Newcomers Sons Floral Hills Chapel.
