Arthur C. Nolff, 80, of South Boardman, died Sat, Oct 10, 1991, at Munson Medical Center.
Mr. Nolff moved to South Boardman from Belleville in 1943. He was employed by many factories in the Detroit and Cadillac areas including B.F. Goodrich, Ford Motor Company, and the Cadillac Malleable Iron Company prior to his retirement in 1967. He enjoyed farming, hunting, and fishing.
Mr. Nolff was born in South Rockwood on Dec 19, 1911, to Henry and Edna Charbeneau Nolff. On Jun 24, 1933, in Lincoln Park, he was married to Elizabeth Slivka who survives.
Besides his wife, he is survived by five daughters, Kathleen Elenbaas of Manistee, Mrs. Wayne (Betty) Ingersoll of Fife Lake, June Beebe of Kalkaska, Mrs. Ethel Walters of Kalkaska, Zelma Baker of McEwan, TN, Mary Bunch and Violet Baginski both of Spring Hill, FL; four brothers, William Nolff of Suttons Bay, Gerald Nolff of Greer, SC, Louis Nolff of Oscoda, and Henry Nolff of Flint; 20 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three sons, Daniel, Stanley, and John, one granddaughter, 2 great grandchildren, one brother, Orville Nolff, and one sister, Helen Nolff.
Funeral services were held Tue, Oct 13, 1992, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Rev. William McQueen officiated. Burial was in Boardman Township Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
