Arlette Mae (Teets) Klohn, 89, passed away July 18, from injuries sustained in a car accident.
She was born April 18, 1927 to Claude and Hazel (Clapsaddle) Teets.
She married Maxwell Klohn on July 1, 1944 and was married for 71 years.
Arlette enjoyed sewing, crocheting, taking care of her family and baking. Her specialties were her homemade bread and apple pies. She worked for NBD-Sandusky for 25 years, retiring as an Assistant VP in 1989.
Arlette was preceded in death by her husband Max in March of this year, daughter Jane Hoag, siblings Edmund (Sophie) Teets, Leila (Raymond) Wasielewski, Betty (Leonard) Buella and brother in law, Darrell Burras.
She is survived by daughters Carol Haupt and Sue (Dennis) Samson, son in law, Alan Hoag, brother Evans (Bev) Teets, sister in law, Joyce Burras, 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson and many beloved nieces and nephews.
A memorial service is planned at the Mooretown Brethren in Christ Church on Snover on Saturday, July 30th with Reverend Brad Gniewek officiating.
Visitation will be at 10:30 am, memorial service at 11:30am, with luncheon to follow. Cremation has taken place.
