Archer D. Clark, 90, of Kalkaska, died Fri, Aug 20, 1999, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
Mr. Clark was employed by Ford Motor Company for 40 years prior to his retirement in 1974. He moved to Kalkaska County in 1981 form Dearborn. He was a life member of Olive Branch Lodge F&AM, Boy Scouts, Moslem Temple, and Chrysanthemum Chapter 14 OES. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Mr. Clark was born in Rice County, KS, on Aug 16, 1909, to Otto and Ina Harris Clark. On Jun 7, 1942, in Kalkaska, he married Dorothy Wagenshutz, who survives.
Besides his wife, he is survived by sons Charles (Beverly) Clark of East Jordan and Lance (Marice) Clark of South Lyons; daughters Sharon (Billy) Johnson of Gibralter, and Donna Schreiner of Grayling; brother Eugene (Lena) Clark of Sunderland, Ontario; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Sister Mary and brothers Earl, Ward, Cecil, and Raymond preceded him in death.
Memorial services are at 1 pm, Sat, Aug 28 at the Bear Lake Christian Church; Pastor David Rosenberg will officiate. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to services.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Shriner's Hospitals or the charity of the donor's choice.
