Anton (Bolivar) Hejnal, 59, of Fife Lake died on Wednesday, June 4, 2003, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
Mr. Hejnal was born in Lake Township, Missaukee County, on Oct. 10, 1943, to Anton and Alice (Helsel) Hejnal. On Oct. 28, 1961, he married Vivian Ingersoll. He was a member of Morey Church.
Surviving are his wife. Vivian; son, Jerry Hejnal; friend, Julie Tuck of Kalkaska; mother, Alice Hejnal; brother, Dave (Tong) Hejnal; and sister, Patsy (Jr.) Emond, all of Lake City; grandchildren Branna Hejnal, Anton Hejnal, Jennifer Kelley, Jonathan Kelly and Michelle Kelley; and great-grandchildren Chelsie, Chase and Trenton Kelley.
He was preceded in death by his father, Anton Hejnal, in 1992 and sister, Shirley Elliott, in 1980.
Funeral services were held Thursday, June 5, at Young Funeral Home in Lake City. The Rev. Paul Lewis officiated. Burial was in Garfield Township Cemetery, Garfield Township.
