Anna E. Cunningham, 95, of Fife Lake, died Sun, Mar 7, 1999, at Kalkaska Memorial Health center Long Term Care after a brief illness.
Mrs. Cunningham was born in Garfield Township, Kalkaska County, on Mar 13, 1903, to Christopher and Pearl (Spurgeon) Pitz. She married Albert Cunningham who preceded her in death in 1975.
She spent her entire life in the Fife Lake area. She was very actively involved in operating a farm with her husband. She enjoyed her family, animals, reading, and keeping a journal and considered the Long Term Care Center in Kalkaska as her home for the past few years.
Surviving are sons Leith (Nancy) Cunningham of Fife Lake, Marcel Cunningham of Kalkaska, and Ted Tyler of Lake City; brother Henry Pitz of Fife Lake; sisters Nonnie Hutchinson of Lake City, Deanie (David) Perry of Stanwood and Freda Perrigo of Amanda Park, WA; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Brothers Fred, Wilbur, and Bob and sisters Emma and Mabel preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held March 11 at Hall Funeral Chapel in Manton; pastor Al Sims officiated. Burial will be at Clark Cemetery, Fife Lake, in the spring.
